The Klaine situation

So this is just my first reaction of the Klaine story line in this episode.
  • Kurt was the one who picked Moulin Rouge, a film that we can safely assume that he had watched with Blaine like 2000 times, not to mention a film that contained his wedding song.
  • We have to remember that Come What May is Kurt's fantasy. He actually fantasized about Blaine singing their wedding song by himself and recalling tender moments from their relationship, including their first time. Kurt KNOWS that Blaine still loves him with everything he has and is yearning for his forgiveness.
  • I know that the script Ryan posted said that Kurt was torn but I had a hard time seeing that. The only feeling I got from Kurt was that he was trying so hard to deny the fact that he was still in love with Blaine, that was obvious when he turned around, giving his back to Blaine while he sang. Honestly, he looked very sure to me. He knew that he still loved Blaine but didn't want to admit it. His heart knew that he was still in love with Blaine and the only way for him to run away from this fact was to run away from Blaine himself, which he promptly realized was a lost cause and he turned around to sing "But I love you" right at Blaine.
  • That point was proved further when he was talking to Adam. When Adam asked if he still loved Blaine, Kurt avoided the question and said that he wants desperately to be over Blaine, he never came out and said that he doesn't love Blaine, because he simply knows it is not true.
  • Kurt gravitated towards Blaine as soon as he stepped onto the roof and their movements were so in sync when they started swaying together. They were falling back into a familiar territory which then terrified Kurt, making him pull away from Blaine in an attempt to deny that he still wants to be with Blaine.
  • The hug at the end summarized everything Kurt was feeling. He was holding onto Blaine, leaning his head on his shoulder comfortably. This felt right, to be wrapped up in Blaine's arms again. Kurt was the one who reached out to pull Blaine to him and don't get me started on the look on his face during the hug. He was home, simple as that. Blaine was moving his hands over Kurt's back to surround him and comfort him, this is how Kurt pictures him, wrapping him on a cocoon of love.
  • Can we talk about the fact that Kurt was actually awake when he fantasized about CWM? He didn't fall asleep and had his subconscious creep up on him. He was wide awake, with his sort of  dare right beside him and he still fantasized about singing his wedding song with his ex.
  • This episode is the first time we actually hear Kurt admit that he wasn't over Blaine. I liked the talk between him and Adam because it forced him to face his feelings, instead of deflecting (which he did in I Do when he kept insisting that they were friends, and again when he was quick to brush Santana's comment aside after CWM)
  • The look on Kurt's face when Adam held his hand spoke volumes to me. Kurt was just coming to the realization that he wasn't over Blaine and he didn't think that staying with Adam was the right way to do it. He's still hurt but he is also still in love with Blaine and he doesn't know what the right course of action is. His heart wants Blaine but his head is wary and he doesn't think that Adam's suggestion will help.
  • Kurt is tempted by Adam's suggestion. He likes Adam and the guy just implied that he wants to stick with him until he gets over Blaine. Adam is the safe choice in this scenario and a part of Kurt wants that because Adam doesn't hold his heart which means that he can't hurt him. But he doesn't think it'll work, because being safe isn't the same as being happy.
  • It's like Adam is setting himself to get hurt. He was just talking about being the rebound, then immediately puts himself in the position of a rebound. Kurt just told him that he wasn't over Blaine, he admitted to being with him at the wedding, and I really can't see Adam's suggestion and disposition doing anything to strengthen his relationship with Kurt, and a part of Kurt knows that, which again is clear from the look on Kurt's face.
  • To sum it up, I don't think that Kurt is torn about his feelings for Blaine, he knows exactly what they are but he is afraid of acting on them because he doesn't want to be hurt, again. He is, however, torn about Adam, whom he likes but isn't ready in anyway to be with, not while he's still in love with Blaine.
