4x13: Diva

Here's what you missed on Glee: Mr. Shue figured that leaving the wedding planning resting solely on Emma who has OCD was a perfect idea, Rachel finally stopped being Lea Michele and started being Rachel Berry again, Blaine was basically sexually assaulted in his sleep, Kurt continues to look devastatingly handsome in whatever he wears and the best way to win back your ex-girlfriend is by bribing someone to pose as your pretend girlfriend, at least according to Santana.

Thank you merciful lord that Rachel became Rachel again. I mean, sure Rachel makes me want to rip out my hair sometimes but at least she is someone I know, instead of the strange mix of Rachel and Lea that we've been subjected to since episode 3. Both Chris and Lea were awesome in that episode. I especially loved their talk in the kitchen and how Kurt informed her that he blew the high F on purpose. Glee, meet continuity. We love it when you two get along.

Brody is seriously pissing me off right now. Just go away Brody. You make me miss Finchel and I'm not even a Finchel fan. The irritating wonder twins were...well, irritating. Kurt winning the midnight madness was the highlight of the episode, especially since I've been rooting for him since I listened to Chris's version of Bring Him Home which made me sob like a baby.

Nice job with Adam too. Kadam scene was good and I liked that Adam is giving Kurt support. One thing though: my Klaine loving mind couldn't help but compare the difference between Kadam and Klaine while dealing with someone attacking them. I've always loved that Klaine didn't just jump to each other's defense at the drop of a hat. I felt like each respected the other as an individual capable of fighting his own battles. Of course, they were there to support each other but neither needed the other to fight his battles for him. So while I love sassy Kurt, his threat to the wonder twins over Adam's Apples felt kinda weird.

Santana's conversations with both Sam and Brittany were very realistic, even if I really don't get or agree with what she did in the first place. Santana was the one who broke up with Brittany, then when Brit told her that she wasn't dating anyone, Santana encouraged her to. Now, she's going Lima Heights on Sam? What?  Also, Sue said that she dropped out a month ago, why didn't she try to get Brittany back then? Why wait till Tina tells her about Bram? And why in God's green earth did Tina call Santana for anyway?

I also didn't like the way she attacked Sam. Santana has screwed Sam over more times than I can count and she had no right going at him like that, especially since he never did anything to her. And what the hell did she mean by "aim a little higher"? Sam is a good guy and she was plain annoying in slamming him like that. But really, the whole thing just felt possessive to me. Amongst all the break ups that we have been drowning into, Brittana are the ones who didn't have a pressing reason to break up. That was Santana's choice, a choice she stuck to and didn't even try to amend when she had the chance so no, I'm aboard the Bram express on that one. Her just appearing in NY was very Santana like, if not a little rude. But hey, at least she's friends with Kurt. Rachel invited Brody to move in without even consulting Kurt so yeah, Santana is better.

Now the Blina situation. I actually loved most of it, except for Tina bitching out Blaine for something he clearly isn't aware of. Blaine, sweetheart, get a clue. It's getting physically painful to see you be that oblivious. I half expected him to get it after Hung Up but clearly not. The bedroom scene was a mix of WTF moments for me but I loved it all the same. Kurt's pictures made me swoon and Blaine's comment " perfect gold star gay" was brilliant. I was a little freaked out when Tina started unbuttoning Blaine's shirt, I swear I expected her to kiss his chest or something. Okay, I just shuddered. But the straddling and the rubbing chest part was a jumbled mess of awkward, wistful, painful, and really creepy. I felt sorry for Tina in that moment, especially when she just cuddled to Blaine. And how many of you expected Blaine to mumble Kurt's name in that moment, I totally did. But again, my Klaine loving mind is seriously ticked because we didn't half of that between Klaine. Not to mention that Blaine and Tina keep using nickname for each other, again something we never saw with Kurt.

Both Don't Stop Me Now and Hung Up were pure gold. I loved it when Blaine kicked the piano stool backwards and the way he leaned back at the end supported by Ryder and Jake. Tina was smoking in Hung Up, a diva through and through. But I'm very alarmed and confused about Blaine asking Tina to the wedding. So what, Blaine will blew Tina off to go with Kurt? Or will he go with Tina and then blew her off at the wedding? Or will Tina just back off once she realizes that there is no chance for her and Blaine? My head is exploding from the possibilities.

The biggest what the hell moment was the Finn\ Emma kiss. If Blaine wins the award for most oblivious, then Finn certainly wins the award of "make a rash stupid decision on impulse then spend forever trying to fix it". Honestly, where the hell did that come from? When they talked about "a love interest" for Finn before I Do, I SO didn't expect Emma. Sure she's not actually a love interest, but it's weird. That kiss and the "Tina rubs Blaine's chest" are competing for most awkward moment in my book.
